Learners

Students under K–12 configurations, following the Department of Education (DepEd) terminology for basic education levels.


Learning Management System (LMS)

A digital platform used for online instruction, assignments, and content delivery. Grado can integrate with an LMS to synchronize grades and attendance.


LIS Enrollment

Enrollment activity processed within Grado’s LIS-mode, ensuring data synchronization with official government learner databases.


Lists

A default permission type that allows users to view or list records in a module (e.g., List Students, List Classes).


LoA (Leave of Absence)

A record for students who temporarily withdraw from enrollment during an active term. Requires admin approval and proper documentation.


Login Credentials

Information required to access Grado: School Code, User ID, and Password. Starting with version 10.x, user IDs are typically email-based and may use Google SSO.


Locking Grades

A system mechanism that prevents further editing of grade entries after submission or approval, maintaining data integrity.


Log Audit Trail

A chronological record of user activities in Grado. It provides transparency and accountability for system actions such as updates or deletions.
