Grade Approval

The process by which encoded grades are reviewed and confirmed by authorized users before publication or report generation.


Grade Book

The digital record where faculty encode, compute, and submit grades per class. Also referred to as the Grade Sheet in other contexts.


Grade Components

Defined elements or weighted criteria used to compute a student’s grade within a subject. Configured per subject under the Subjects module, Grade Components may vary depending on the school’s grading framework and are assessed in the Grade Book, then reflected as transmuted values in the Grade Sheet.


Grade Sheet

A digital record sheet where faculty encode and submit student grades for each grading component.


Grades

The evaluated performance of a student per class or subject. Grades may be raw or transmuted based on the school’s transmutation table.


Grading Periods

Defined intervals within an academic term (e.g., Midterm, Final) that organize how grades are computed and reported.


Grado LIS-mode

A configuration of the Grado system integrated with the government’s Learner Information System (LIS), allowing synchronized student and class records.


Graduate Tagging

A record update marking students as graduates once all program requirements are satisfied and verified.


Graduates

Students officially tagged as having completed all program or degree requirements. Graduation tagging is managed by authorized admin users.


Homeroom

A faculty-managed advisory section focusing on attendance, deportment, and student guidance.


Import Template

A downloadable CSV format used in Bulk Uploaders to ensure data follows correct column headers and structure before import.


Integration

The process of connecting Grado with external platforms such as Learning Management Systems or Payment Gateways to enable data exchange.
